First, it allows sensitive populations, such as children, the elderly, and people with breathing difficulties to limit their outdoor activities. Second, it allows others to help prevent air pollution by taking such actions as carpooling, riding the bus, waiting to refuel, and postponing the use of gasoline-powered lawnmowers.

This service is recommended for employers, day care facilities, schools, elder care facilities, hospitals, individuals with respiratory problems, and members of the general public who care about air quality and its effect on our lives.
