Northwest Passage
Hollins to Downtown
Starting in the CVS parking lot at the intersection of Williamson and Peters Creek, this route will take you south on neighborhood streets to the Lick Run Greenway near Valley View. Follow Lick Run south until Wells Avenue in Downtown, then along the Rail Walk to the hospitality booth at the Transportation Museum.
The Railyard
Bonsack to Downtown Roanoke via Vinton
Beginning at Bonsack United Methodist Church, you'll hug Roanoke's historic rail lines to Vinton. From there, you'll travel west along Campbell Avenue, alongside the Norfolk Southern shops, and into downtown Roanoke to the Transportation Museum.
The Chipotle
West County to Downtown
Starting at the Colonade Corporate Park, this route take you on neighborhood streets and along the Garst Mill Greenway into the Grandin Road area. Traveling through Grandin Village and along Memorial Avenue, you'll come into downtown on Salem Avenue and end at the Transportation Museum.
Pike's Pique
Downtown Salem to Downtown Roanoke
Connecting Downtown Salem and Downtown Roanoke, Pike's Pique will take you south out of Salem and along Boulevard Roanoke, cutting over onto the Salem Turnpike. A staight shot along Loudon Avenue will bring you downtown and to the Transportation Museum.
Sidewinder
Southwest County to Downtown Roanoke
One of the more challenging routes with some hilly areas and traffic, the Sidewinder will take you from the Kroger parking lot in the Cave Spring area to Tanglewood Mall, and then onto neighborhood streets to Virginia Western Community College. Using the Colonial Avenue bike lanes and the Roanoke River Greenway, you'll come into downtown from the Wasena bike route and to the Transportation Museum.
Floodwaters
Garden City to Downtown Roanoke
This route will bring you straight up Garden City Boulevard towards downtown, then quickly onto the Roanoke River Greenway. A leisurely ride along the greenway to Roanoke Memorial Hospital will connect you to the Mill Mountain Greenway along Williamson Road, through Elmwood Park, and from there to the Rail Walk and the Transportation Museum.
