RIDE Solutions uses a proccess called corridor matching to help you find a carpool partner, connecting you to other commuter's routes via park-and-rides and other meeting locations. Park-and-rides can also connect you to and from transit options such as the Smart Way bus and the Mountain Express.
RADAR Transit runs limited transit service between Iron Gate, Covington, Clifton Forge, and DSLCC via the Mountain Express service. Check the bus schedule online to see where the closest Mountain Express stop is for you.
The Smart Way Bus connects the Roanoke and New River Valleys. Riders of the Smart Way can transfer to Valley Metro buses in Roanoke for free. RIDE Solutions can use corridor matching to connect you from transit service to potential carpoolers. Check with your HR department about the Commuter Choice benefit for transit riders.
